About
Texas-born Wendy Nichol(Ni-cole) is described as a soothing and sweet soprano with soul and introspective, lyrical prowess. Her moto is “overcome the past and face the future with optimism.” Her fans say that even when she’s writing about the hard things in life she brings peace in her delivery.
She’s been compared to artists such as Jewel, The Cranberries and Alanis Morissette.
Wendy is also an avid blogger. As a homeschooling mom of four, (with number five on the way) she carves out a little time each week to write about life. Continuing the theme of overcoming the past and facing the future with optimism she writes from her heart about the daily struggles and how they can truly change when we face them head on with practical and personal habits.

The broken people around you only have a hold if you allow them to. We have to accept our present and then charge into our future forgiving those that have hurt and robbed us. There’s no other start to freedom’s path.

This really is why some of my mantras are “warrior” and “fight.” Because most of the battles we face are mental. They are emotional. They are spiritual. Very few of us have faced a villain and had to take up our sword and fight but most of us have faced the villain inside.
The World Needs You
I had a rough night. I crashed and burned. A repeating cycle I’ve relived since high-school. I don’t really know what the trigger is, the original instance, but I get sick when a certain kind of anxiety rises in me. It’s weird. I know.
